Avoiding deception and misinformation

Sasoiko Centre , 22 September 2026 , 10:00h

Learn how to spot misinformation

Every day, we receive news stories, videos and messages on our phones. With so much information around us, telling what is true from what is false can be a real challenge.

In this Sasoiko workshop, you will learn what misinformation is and discover four practical ways to identify and prevent it. The session will be led by SUM ambassadors —Seniors against Misinformation— who have received training at Sasoiko in collaboration with Verificat, an organisation specialising in fact-checking.

A practical and accessible space to improve your media literacy, develop critical thinking skills and make safer decisions before believing or sharing online content.

Book your place and regain control over the information you receive.
