ROSA MONTERO in conversation with CARLOS BRIONES | JA! FESTIVAL

Between journalism, essays and fiction, Rosa Montero’s career is driven by curiosity. In her books, imagination and humour become ways of understanding the world. Following in the footsteps of her admired Ursula K. Le Guin, the author has explored some of the great questions of our time through science fiction, giving rise to one of her most personal literary projects: the saga starring the replicant Bruna Husky.

For the first time, JA! welcomes one of the most prominent writers in contemporary Spanish literature. She will be joined in conversation by scientist Carlos Briones to discuss her work and the territories they share, including their conviction that science and literature are deeply interconnected.

Admission: €3. Book signing.
