August Arrives with Even More Plans to Enjoy the Summer at Klima Abentura

Summer is turning out to be a massive success at Klima Abentura. Over the past few weeks, families, children, and young people alike have enjoyed concerts, workshops, educational activities, and experiences right in the heart of nature—making the park one of the absolute must-visit destinations to enjoy the summer in the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve.

With the arrival of August, the park is introducing one of the season’s biggest highlights: the opening of its water zone. This area features swimming pools and a fun splash pad, specially designed so the little ones can cool off and play safely during the hottest days of the summer.

The Most Refreshing Plan of the Summer

The pools and the splash pad make August the perfect time to experience Klima Abentura. The park’s offerings are rounded out by a dedicated space where you can combine swimming, water games, and moments of relaxation surrounded by nature, making it easy to spend a full day out with the family without ever leaving the venue.

The Special Programming Continues

Summer still has some of its most anticipated events in store. On August 2nd, Klima Zuzenean will wrap up its acoustic concert series with a performance by Addar. This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy live music in an intimate format, complemented by the gastronomic area (txoko) and the unique atmosphere the park offers at dusk.

A week later, on August 9th, a new session of Klima Zinema will arrive with a screening of the movie Robots—a wonderful chance to enjoy an open-air movie night under the Urdaibai sky, designed for the whole family to share.

The opening of the pools and the splash pad marks the beginning of a month packed with possibilities for anyone looking for a different way to enjoy the summer. On September 26th, it will host Klima eta Kirola (Climate and Sport), a day dedicated to sustainable sport, sports gear swapping, and healthy eating. Later on, on October 4th, Itsas Zaporeak (Flavors of the Sea) will highlight Urdaibai’s maritime culture and fishing heritage through workshops, activities, and experiences for the whole family.
