CALL FOR GRANTS

What it is

The Call for Grants is an initiative promoted by BBK Fundazioa and BBK Kuna to encourage the integration of new technologies within Third Sector Social organizations in Bizkaia. Its goal is to foster collaboration between social entities and tech companies, driving innovative projects that generate a greater impact on users and the region. In addition to providing the necessary funding, BBK guides and leads the process, supplying the conditions, resources, and support required so that projects can be designed, implemented, evaluated, and, where appropriate, sustainably scaled.

Who it is for

The call is aimed at Third Sector Social organizations in Bizkaia interested in incorporating innovative technological solutions—such as robotics, generative artificial intelligence, or process automation—with the aim of improving their intervention capacity and expanding the positive impact on the people they support. In this edition, priority will be given to initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life and promoting the inclusion of people with disabilities, the elderly, people with chronic illnesses, and people at risk of or experiencing social exclusion, thereby contributing to more personalized, efficient, and sustainable care.

Technology can be a key tool for strengthening the transformative capacity of social entities, provided it is put at the service of people and responds to real needs. This call makes it possible to move toward a more innovative, efficient, and sustainable third sector, making it easier for social organizations to incorporate technological solutions that enhance their impact and responsiveness.
