We open registration for Santo Tomas Azoka 2026

Santo tomas productores

On December 21st, Bilbao’s Arenal and its surroundings will once again be filled with tradition, flavors, and products from our land. At BBK, we are working to make this 77th edition another meeting point between our baserritarras (local farmers), producers, and citizens, keeping alive our commitment to the primary sector, local consumption, and sustainability. Because Santo Tomas Azoka is much more than a market: it is an opportunity to recognize the work of those who take care of our land, bring the rural world closer to the city, and continue valuing the quality of local products.

We open registrations until November 6th From October 19th to November 6th, producers and food artisans interested in participating in Santo Tomas Azoka 2026 will be able to submit their applications. Registration must be completed through the BBK ETA ZU portal by filling out the corresponding form and attaching the required documentation.

These are the most important dates of the process:

● October 19th to November 6th: registration period.

● November 20th: publication of provisional stall allocations.

● November 23rd and 24th: period for claims and withdrawals.

All requirements, necessary documentation, and evaluation criteria can be found in the participation terms and conditions. As in previous editions, we continue to bet on local production, quality, sustainability, and promoting new generations in the primary sector. More sustainability and solidarity to enjoy Santo Tomás

In addition to our traditional local product stalls, we are preparing various initiatives with which we want to continue making Santo Tomas Azoka a more sustainable, participatory, and supportive celebration.

Among them returns Batu eta irabazi, our initiative to promote glass recycling in a fun way. This year we are taking it a step further and will have two participation points in El Arenal. Participating will be very simple: for every glass bottle turned in for recycling, we will give a ticket to win one of the 318 prizes we have prepared, including backpacks and various gifts. And, of course, solidarity will once again play a major role.

Together with BISUBI, we will bring back our solidarity beans, an initiative that unites gastronomy and social commitment and is already part of this celebration. These are just some of the proposals we are preparing.

Over the coming weeks, we will share more details about the activities and novelties for this edition.

At BBK, we remain committed to a Santo Tomás that connects tradition and the future, supports those who work our land, and allows us to enjoy what is ours in a more sustainable and supportive way. See you on December 21st in Bilbao!
