Applied technology

Make technology work for you

What if technology could become your best ally for enjoying a more comfortable, active and independent retirement? Would you like to share the tools you already use and discover new ones that can help you organise your day, save time or simply have fun?

Applied technology is a practical and participatory programme for curious people who want to get more from their devices and discover some of the most useful applications available today. It is not about learning complex theory or memorising technical concepts. It is about experimenting, trying things out and discovering digital solutions that can make a real difference.

Throughout the sessions, we will discuss the technologies and applications we already use, often without realising everything they can offer us. We will share simple tips, recommendations and practical uses that make everyday tasks easier, enhance our abilities, help us stay connected or provide new opportunities for leisure and entertainment.

Professionals will also guide us in identifying some of the most useful and up-to-date digital tools. We will test them together, step by step, and see how they can help us organise our schedules, communicate, manage daily tasks, make better use of our time and navigate the digital world with greater confidence.

This will be a space for hands-on experimentation and shared learning, demonstrating that technology does not have to be frightening or complicated. The aim is to make our devices work for us, rather than the other way around.

We will also bring together the group’s discoveries, tips and recommendations in the practical and visual “Tech for Good” guide. This collective handbook will include useful applications, everyday uses and simple advice to help other people benefit from technology in their daily lives.

Whether you have recently retired, have a curious mindset or would like to discover how technology can make your life more comfortable, independent and enjoyable, this programme is for you.

Make technology work in your favour. Sign up and take control of your digital well-being.
