IGGY RUBÍN, ENRIQUE MURILLO & ALBERT MONTEYS | JA! FESTIVAL

Since its unusual posthumous publication in 1980, A Confederacy of Dunces has become a classic of humorous literature. Albert Monteys’ recent graphic adaptation offers a fresh take on the unforgettable world of Ignatius J. Reilly, which a festival like ours could not miss the opportunity to celebrate.

Monteys will be joined in conversation by Enrique Murillo, author of the foreword to this Astiberri edition and a key figure in bringing the novel to Anagrama for its original publication. They will be joined by Iggy Rubín, one of the work’s most enthusiastic readers, whose ability to make us laugh and think remains as powerful as ever.

Admission: €3. Book signing.

Festival Friends: free admission with prior reservation.

Tickets available from 23 September.
