Pixel by Pixel, We Build an Image
BBK Kuna , 5 September 2026 , 17:30h
Get ready to discover what happens when lots of tiny coloured dots come together. In this session, children will be introduced to the concept of pixels in a simple and engaging way, learning that they are tiny elements which, when combined, create the images we see on screens.
Each participant will receive a simple template inspired by technological elements such as a star, a heart, a machine or a digital character. They will then make small balls of coloured tissue paper and stick them onto the corresponding spaces in the picture.
Gradually, these small pieces of paper will complete the image, showing how many tiny elements can come together to create a much bigger picture.
This activity helps develop fine motor skills, concentration, observation and an early understanding of how digital images are formed.
