Kuna has always been linked to the reality of Bizkaia, leading initiatives that respond to its changing needs. For more than 100 years, the BBK Banking Foundation has promoted projects to generate positive social impact and build a more inclusive and sustainable society.

Neighbourhood Consultative Council

An agent created from within Kuna itself, whose premise is to ensure that the voices of the inhabitants of the neighbourhood are heard and integrated into the initiatives. In addition to collaborating in the co-creation of solutions, participating actively in workshops and sessions.

Institute

Led by Daniel Innerarity and composed of experts in the area, the objective of this agent is to contribute its experience and knowledge to the ecosystem of initiatives, strengthening and expanding the impact of each one of them, through their knowledge.

Technology for people

In a context of technological acceleration and social transformation, BBK Kuna promotes a humanistic vision of technology that places people at the center, understanding innovation as a tool at the service of inclusion, sustainability, and social justice.

Under this perspective, “Technology for People” becomes BBK Kuna’s annual thematic framework for 2026, coordinating different initiatives that explore how technology can make a tangible contribution to improving people’s well-being and quality of life.
